Geert Graaf is member of the Executive Board and is responsible for regulated network operations.

Geert Graaf graduated from the University of Groningen in 1983 with a degree in chemical engineering. He obtained his post-doctorate in mathematics and physics.

In 1986, after completing his thesis, he joined Gasunie, where he held various posts within both the technical (transport) and commercial (trade & supply) sectors. After the demerger of Gasunie in 2005, he transferred to GasTerra as Gas Export Director.

In April 2007 Geert Graaf came back to Gasunie and was appointed CEO of Gas Transport Services (GTS). As of 2009 he was also supervisor of Gasunie Germany and thus responsible for Gasunie’s TSO operations. Both GTS and Gasunie Germany are 100% subsidiaries of Gasunie. From October 2011 Geert Graaf is a Member of the Executive Board, responsible for regulated network operations.
