Working for a company where the people are its key element
We owe the success of our company to the dedication and commitment of all our employees. Working for us means not only being given challenging work in a dynamic, international environment, but also excellent opportunities for further development of their skills. We offer them the chance to follow training courses tailored to their requirements. We also offer good terms of employment, giving them the scope to find a balance between work and private life.
Terms of employment
We offer our employees attractive terms of employment that are aligned with current standards in our industry. We allow employees scope to strike a balance between their work life and their private life. To help them with that, we have implemented flexible working hours and flexible terms of employment at our company. Our terms of employment include the ‘flexible allowance’ for all employees, which they can spend entirely as they see fit. They can use it to buy time off, top up their pension, sign up to a bicycle scheme, and they can even opt to have the allowance paid out in cash.
Working in engineering and technology
Our cross-border network consists of 15,500 kilometres of pipeline, a 235 kilometre long offshore pipeline, connections to national and international pipeline systems and hundreds of installations, including the LNG installation on the Maasvlakte, the underground gas storage facility in Zuidwending and approximately 1,300 gas receiving stations. Everything to do with technology is designed and maintained by our staff.
Working for a prominent company
Gasunie is one of the largest gas infrastructure companies in Europe. The marker posts dotted throughout the Dutch and German landscape are visible proof of this. These marker posts represent a team of more than 1650 employees, distributed over more than 30 locations in the Netherlands and North Germany and with agencies in The Hague, Brussels and Moscow. This team of professionals makes sure that everyone has gas available to them all the time, day in, day out.
Working in the energy sector
Our infrastructure plays a key role in gas supply not just in the Netherlands, but also in the rest of Europe. Energy and sustainability issues are also more challenging than ever. We will use everything within our power to create a cleaner energy future: for example, setting up energy interconnections. Natural gas, green gas and sustainable sources such as sun and wind can be combined to provide a flexible and stable energy supply, from which we will all benefit.
