Certificate gate instruction
If you visit or perform work on a gas-fed plant or station, you must hold the Gate Instruction certificate. This shows that you have watched an instructional video and passed the corresponding test. You will also need the Gate Instruction certificate if you are a contractor visiting a non-gas-carrying location, such as an office or the Central Warehouse.
The Gate Instruction certificate can be obtained online. This requires you to watch a video and answer related questions. The video explains the rules that apply to working at Gasunie. If you watch the video, you will know what we at Gasunie mean by acting safely.
What should you do?
It is very easy to follow the instructions in the following way:
- You create an account with a (unique) e-mail address and password.
- You fill in the form with the necessary details.
- You watch the whole video and then take the test.
- In case of a good result, a certificate is automatically created. For a positive result, at least 80% of the questions must be answered correctly. If this is not the case, you will be given a second chance.
- You take this certificate with you on your next visit to Gasunie, where it can be entered in your safety passport (PSL).
The 'Gate Instruction' certificate is valid for two years. When the certificate has expired, you must review the instruction and obtain the certificate again. It is possible to renew the certificate from ten days before the date it expires. You can indicate that you want to receive a reminder for this.
