District heating in the Groningen-Eems region

Together with partners, we are conducting a feasibility study into the use of industrial waste heat from the Eems region for heating homes and businesses in various districts and centres in the municipalities of Eemsdelta, Het Hogeland and Groningen. This study focuses on the entire value chain, i.e. from sources and transport to distribution and consumption. The infographic shows the options we are looking into.
