Bart Leenders set to join Gasunie’s Executive Board

On 1 November 2025 Bart Leenders will join Gasunie’s Executive Board. He has been appointed for a four-year term and will serve as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Leenders has previously held various international positions at Neste, the global market leader in sustainable fuels, including that of Executive Vice President of Technology and Projects.

Bart Leenders studied mechanical engineering at Delft University of Technology and completed various management modules at IMD in Switzerland. He currently serves in a variety of advisory and board roles, including Chair of the Dutch Association for Sustainable Biofuels, and board member of Deltalinqs.
