Bommel van der Bend new member of the Supervisory Board of Gasunie

The Minister of Finance, in its capacity as shareholder of N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, has appointed Bommel van der Bend as a member of Gasunie’s Supervisory Board with effect from 1 October 2026. The appointment is on the recommendation of the Supervisory Board. Van der Bend is lawyer and partner at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
About Bommel van der Bend
Bommel van der Bend specialises in international arbitration and has extensive experience in complex matters relating to energy, infrastructure and large-scale construction projects. Van der Bend joined De Brauw in 1992. He studied Civil Law at Leiden University and European law at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University.
