EemsEnergyTerminal completes its first year

EemsEnergyTerminal was officially brought into operation on 16 September 2022, exactly one year ago. This has helped make us in the Netherlands and the EU less dependent on Russian natural gas. Last year, the installation of this terminal for the import of LNG (liquefied natural gas) was completed in a record time of six months. See the short recap of one year of the EemsEnergyTerminal:

The EemsEnergyTerminal has been a necessary intervention to ensure sufficient natural gas. The plan is to eventually use the site for the import of green hydrogen.
