Gasunie's CSR performance can now be viewed on an online dashboard

Within Gasunie we are working hard to achieve our goals in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR): the Gasunie Green Deals. Today we are launching our Green Deals dashboard. It allows everyone to see the results we are achieving in making our operational management greener and more social.

The new dashboard will show how close we are to our interim (2023) and final (2030) targets for each Green Deal. We report on our progress every quarter. Interim successes, such as relevant tenders and contracts, will also be included in the dashboard from now on.

Gasunie has had a new CSR policy since 2020. This is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations. These are 17 'tools' for companies and governments to make the world a better place by the year 2030.

In 2020, we built nine Green Deals on the foundation of these SDGs. In 2021, we formulated concrete and ambitious goals (KPIs) within each Green Deal that must be achieved by 2030.

Because 2030 is still a long way off and we want to keep ourselves focused, most Green Deals also have intermediate targets. Two important Green Deals, methane emission reduction and CO₂ emission reduction, have final but not intermediate targets. These emissions depend heavily on the volumes of gas that flow through our networks, and these volumes can vary from year to year.
