Pieter Duisenberg has stepped down from the Supervisory Board of Gasunie

Following his appointment as President of the Netherlands Court of Audit, Pieter Duisenberg has stepped down as chairman and member of the Supervisory Board of Gasunie per October 1 2023.

Pieter Duisenberg has played an important role for Gasunie in recent years. As member and chairman of the Supervisory Board, he has guided the strategic development of gas transport towards sustainable energy infrastructure. Gasunie is particularly grateful to him for his valuable contribution.

From October 1, the current vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board, prof.dr.ir. Tim van der Hagen will continue as acting chairman until a new chairman has been appointed. The procedure to recruit a new member of the Supervisory Board has now started. After completion of this procedure, the Supervisory Board will elect a new chairman from among its members.
