Talents with a distance to the labour market
Gasunie aims for its employee population to reflect society. We want to offer work to people who have difficulty finding a suitable working environment because of their background or labour disability.
In the Netherlands, employees with a distance to the labour market are covered by the Participation Act and the Target Groups Register. Germany has its own scheme for this, under which Gasunie Deutschland is obliged to deploy a number of people with disabilities.
People with a distance to the labour market have talents like everyone else, but these talents are sometimes more difficult to express due to circumstances. Precisely by offering them opportunities, we reduce these barriers.
