Joining a cross-border CO₂ transport system: Delta Rhine Corridor and Delta Schelde CO₂nnection

• Industry parties that opt for CCS with facilities based in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, and that wishes to make use of the Delta Rhine Corridor (DRC) and/or Delta Schelde CO₂nnection (DSC) CO₂-infrastructure projects.
  
  
• ‘CO₂-Aggregators’, meaning parties interested in booking capacity in the complete value chain on behalf of third parties. Facilitating both transport and storage of CO₂ between emitters and stores.

We look forward to collaborate and support you with transporting captured CO₂ to offshore storage locations under the North Sea for permanent storage. In order to enable you on this journey, we offer:  

• near term reliable and cost-effective CO₂-infrastructure
• an integrated network of CO₂-infrastructure connecting Northwest Europe 
• connecting with CO₂-storage solutions as being developed in the Port of Rotterdam; CO₂-hub of Northwest Europe

A completed Call for Expression of Interest has shown that there is more than enough demand (up to 45 million tonnes per year) for the capacity that can be delivered by the planned CO_2-infrastructure. Thanks in part to shared, interconnected infrastructure like the Delta Rhine Corridor and the Delta Schelde CO₂nnection, various industries in Western Europe can contribute to decarbonisation.
